The Grocery List

I bought a book about a year ago called Milk, Eggs, Vodka. It is a coffee table book with random grocery lists. The other day at the grocery store there was someone else's list in our shopping cart and I remembered the book. I mentioned to Juan and Bee that we should really start reading the grocery lists we find. Well last night at the grocery store Bee found a crumpled grocery list and opened it up.

Seems pretty normal at first glance...
Some lasagna, onions, black beans, eggs, ricotta, Parmesan cheese, Mexican cheese and what looks like bread. I wonder if this person is a vegetarian or if this is some kind of Mexican food style lasagna. Interesting. But when you flip the paper over, that's when it really gets good.

This is awesome! It looks promising, he wants to get his resume together for some girl named Julie. But he needs to call Jim to talk about his future. I wonder who Jim is? Then he is looking at taking GMAT. That is promising, he wants to get his Master's at least. (I don't know why I assume this is written by a guy, but it just seems like a guy to me). Then my favorite line: If I get "fired" can I get unemployment. And then his response to himself, yes I can file. Is he trying to get "fired"? Is he quitting and asking them to "fire" him? I couldn't help but crack up laughing when I read this. I knew I just had to share it with all of you guys.

After three days of school open houses, I am exhausted. I so can't wait for the weekend. I feel like I just live for the weekends lately. I just got back from vacation and already I feel like I need another vacation. Anyway I wanted to do a design on my nails, but then I realized I was just to tired to do it. I did half the design on one hand and then just had to remove it all and decided just a coat of polish was all that was going to happen for me. Maybe tonight I will finish what I started. Let's see what happens. Anyway I showed this one on here a long time ago, so hopefully it is long enough that I can show you again. It is Color Club What a Drag. This is two coats. I love the silver foil finish of this polish, I just wish it was a bit shinier. It seems to drink in the top coat, so there is no added shine by adding topcoat to it. But it will work for now.

  1. haha, love that... there's actually a site with notes that someone found and those are really random and funny- i.e. someone trying to find a roommate and a joker who writes his comments on it
