Let's Play a Game!

I normally post first thing in the morning, but I got home late last night and didn't have time to get everything together. Then this morning I slept in, so my post had to wait until tonight. So I'm going to take this opportunity to play a little game. What do you say?

Two of the polishes I recently purchased looked quite similar to each other. Actually several colors within several brands all looked very similar. I know trends and all that jazz, but I mean from China Glaze to Sinful to OPI all had similar colors. So when I was trying to figure out what color I wanted to do my nails, I noticed that China Glaze Emerald Fitzgerald and OPI Cuckoo for this Color looked almost alike. I decided to do a comp. Then I decided we would play a game. I am going to post a picture of my nails painted in both these colors. Your job is to determine which nail has which color.

I didn't change the polish for any of these pictures. I just wanted to show it from different angles and lighting.

And here's a close up of each for you!

Alright so now it is up to you to guess which color is on which nail and in the close up swatches above. Need a clue? Here's some bottle pictures.

Another hint? OK, OK, here is each color on my nails.

OPI Cuckoo for this Color

China Glaze Emerald Fitzgerald

So any guesses on the which is on which finger in the first few pictures?

  1. CG Emerald on your pointer and ring and OPI Cuckoo on your middle and pinky.

Can't believe how close those are. Wow! Thanks for the comparison.

  2. OMG I totally cannot tell.

  3. I agree with Sarah!
CG Emerald is on your pointer and ring finger, it is a little bit frostier, and you can notice the minimal amount of brush strokes. But I don't think anyone needs both of these color.

    Thanks for the comp!

  4. They are way too close for me to tell!! They're great colors, though.

  5. really hard to tell..but i think cg on your pinky and ring finger.. and opi on the middle finger and pointer..?
i think cg is a little bit more green/blue..? not sure though soo hard to tell..

  6. WOW. These are so close that it's really not necessary to own both, if you know ahead of time!! Gorgeous color, too!! I can't even begin to guess... they're seriously close!
