It's a Sunshine Day!

What a week so far huh? I am so excited to finally be able to talk about everything. Makes my life so much easier. My samples should have been put in the mail yesterday so I can expect to have the first two color samples by mid next week! Yay! Hopefully the samples are spot on. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Other than Cult Nails, the kids have brought in a tremendous amount of homework this week. Man I don't remember having this much homework as a kid. It seems like each year the load gets heavier. I picked my daughter up at school the other day and her backpack was packed to the brim and you could barely zip the backpack. It had to weigh at least 15 lbs! On the plus side a lot of the teachers allow the kids to sign out a book for the year and leave one at home so they don't have to keep carting books back and forth. So I plan on asking her teacher's if they have spare copies. Hopefully so. As a matter of fact one of Coco's teacher's may be a follower here. If so hello & welcome! Coco is so proud of her mom she is promoting my blog to her teachers. How cute it that? I hope it's not her English teacher, she would probably be cringing at my writing! Ha!

Anyway, let's get back to franken week. This is a yellow color my daughter asked for. She wanted a metallic yellow. I didn't want a foil metallic yellow, since I figured that would just be a mess to apply. I tried to go for a yellow with a holo glitter to it, but the yellow seemed to suck up the glitter. It came out OK, but this one definitely needs more work. I am normally a huge yellow fan, but I think this one falls short. I'll have to try this one again. Any suggestions on making it better?
