A Day at the...Stables?

So we wanted to get some pictures at a local stable where one of Juan's friend's girlfriend has a horse. (Wow that was a mouthful!) Anyway, I think we may need to go back for a take two - but I really just don't want to be the "model" so I need to figure something out. But I would love to be able to send press kits and have it more "themed" to the collection. We have another week or so to figure everything out and get it done, so let's see what we end up with!

I was debating on showing pics from our FL blogger and blog followers meet up from this last weekend, but I thought I would show the stable pics first and then in a day or two I'll show you the meet up ones! How does that sound? (The real reason is that we just put a movie in and these are already downloaded and I am being totally lazy and don't feel like downloading the other pictures right now.)

So anyway, here are some of the pictures from the stables. I'm wearing Devious Nature in these pictures. What do you think? Are we on the right track?

Edited to add: We are trying to work out an actual day at the races so we can take some pictures there. I am trying to gather some friends who would be willing to take the 3 hour drive to Miami and don some fancy hats and maybe they will even have mint julips there, but if not any drink in hand will do if we are actually at the races. We are looking at April 23rd as the date. Now to convince my friends to come with me! YIKES - I hope they can come! If any of you are up for a drive to the Miami area or are from there  and want to be part of our marketing campaign, let me know! All you need is nice nails, a nice smile, a fancy hat and a cute sundress!

  1. When I think of "A Day At The Races", I not only think of the horses themselves, but I think of events like the Kentucky Derby and how the ladies come with big BIG hats, and drinks like a mint julep, or sitting in the stands with binoculars to watch the action or the Winner's Circle where there's a huge horseshoe shaped floral arrangement presented to the winner...
