I'm on the Fence

Quick possibly senseless post from my phone. I apologize in advance.

I have to make my final for our winter collection, yet here I sit still mixing! I received a few mixes I requested on Tuesday, plus I have the ones I didn't do for the Fall, but for some reason here I sit.

Here is the latest. I posted a video on my Facebook, so feel free to go there and check it out and let me know what you think.

But for now Here are some pics. So far today I have received 4 compliments on this one and a I have to have that from someone I know. Do I rush this & make it the final color?

Edited to add: I felt like many of you in that it looks just like some of the others out there. It is along the same lines for sure. Once I had it, I thought - wait I already have this and started looking through my stash. I grabbed Not Like the Movies and did a side by side. And it is similar but it is not the same. Not Like the Movies is very in the shimmer, mine is definitely more subtle. When I put them side by side mine looks like a blue silver and OPI's purple.

Left: Not Like the Movie's - Right: Mine

So maybe that is why mine looks frosty? In person it looks metallic not frosty. But now that you guys mention it, it's all I see! LOL! So this color is out. Maybe I should show you guys the other options I'm considering and do a poll? I love that you guys give your honest opinions! You are amazing! Thank you!

  1. Honestly, I don't really care for this one. It's a little too frosty looking for my personal taste. Maybe its one that I would like if I layered it though

  2. As much as I like it, I think it is WAY too similar to some others that have been released this year and I probably wouldn't pick it up.

  3. It is pretty but looks a lot like the ones released by other brands. I like the way yours looks better than than the others but being that I have a couple of the others I wouldn't need to get another one.

  4. I agree with Jen, it's a little too frosty for my liking.

  5. Is it a duochrome or is that just how it's photographing?

  6. Yeah, I'm just not feeling this one :(

  7. I dunno, I like it. It look similar to WnW Gray's Anatomy but maybe in real life it shows more green before the shift.

  8. While it is pretty, kinda looks too much like other recently released polishes.

  9. I love this. I love it so much I bought it already. :o( It looks just like Deborah Lippmann's Wicked Game, Wet N Wild's Gray's Anatomy, and OPI Not Like the Movies without the glitter. I'd pass on this one and keep looking for something more unique to your collection. I know you'll create something awesome!

  11. I like that it's so "green" but the frost and the silver is just SO strong on the appearance.

  12. I think adding a duochrome is something to think about. I'm sure they must be insanly hard &/or expensive to make but a good one is always very popular.

  13. I would say that color isout, it looks too similar to too many colors out there, from the OPI, Essence, Deborah Lippman, and WetNWild, Sephora by OPI had one in the Glee collection too.

  14. You should make a jelly for fall. I absolutely Lurve jellies. Maybe a deep blue or purple jelly, or a burgundy jelly. :)

  15. A wine jelly! You can call it Pinot Envy! Ha ha ha! And I get samples if you use my idea, right? Wink wink. :)

  16. Yes yes yes to a poll! And I actually liked the one in this post. I'm not a fan of the colors similar to this one; they are too sheer. But I'm sure yours is perfection.
