Hey girls! Someone requested a review of the Jason Wu for Target flap satchel. I had seen that Kisten from the PolishPauper had been fortunate enough to snag the bag, so I asked if she could do a quick review for us. Darn it if I don't want this item now too!
Hey lovelies! On Sunday, I got up early and made my way to Target for the unveiling of the Jason Wu collection. Now I love fashion, but I don’t usually go to this extreme, but I had fallen in love with this purse, sigh! I will admit that I am a bit of a purse snob, so I had high hopes, but low expectations about the quality.
There were only two, so I was super glad that I got up early to grab one. The first thing I noticed was that is was much bigger then I was expecting and that it didn’t look cheap! The faux leather trim did not look overtly fake and the metal accents felt substantial, which give the cotton canvas purse a higher end feel. Inside there is a ton of space, as well as pockets galore including a zipper divider pocket! The quality on this purse impressed me since sometimes the designer collections have fallen short in the past, it is the little touches like the feet on the bottom, the ability to shorten the long strap and the metal accents elevate the purse from looking like a cheap knock off. Well done Jason Wu for Target, there may be hope for the designer collections yet! Now if I could only find that dang trench coat!
