Disney World at Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival

John took me to Epcot at Disney World for the International Flower and Garden Festival for our 19 year anniversary yesterday. What an amazing experience. I'm a Disney fan, but not a huge fanatic. The idea of waiting in line for a 60 second ride is like torture to me. But a day walking around looking at beautiful flowers and enjoying great food and drinks and I'm in.

The flower sculptures are amazing, but the food and drinks were even better. They showcase seasonal foods around Epcot's World Showcase.

I can't believe we've been married 19 years. I remember going to Disney World for our honeymoon. It doesn't seem all that long ago.

The food pairings are all sample sizes. Since we knew we would be eating all around the world, John and I shared each sample. (Well except one, which I let John devour on his own.)

One of our stops was at the Lotus House in Epcot's China. We selected their vegetable spring rolls, Lychee aerated water and the South Sea Storm (Guava with light & dark rums). First off those spring rolls are the best I have ever had! They came with a sauce and I was in Heaven. I am seriously craving them today. John wanted to stop at the Smokehouse for BBQ & Brews in Epcot's American Adventure. He tried the pulled pork slider with cole slaw, which, since I don't eat meat, I let him enjoy. He also got some beer samples of Maduro from Cigar City Brewing and Billy's Chilies from Twisted Pine Brewing Company. I did taste the Billy's Chilies. They warned us to take a sniff first! Oh my Jalepeno's! It definitely had a kick and was surprisingly good. If you like food with a hot after taste, this is a must try.

Below are just a few of the other amazing foods we got to try yesterday.

At the Primavera Kitchen in Epcot's Italy. Three cheese manicotti and torta di ricotta.

Fluer de Lys in Epcot's France. Gnocchi Parisien à la Provençal and Rosé Pamplemousse Cocktail

Hanami in Epcot's Japan. Frushi which is pineapple, strawberries and melon rolled with coconut rice, served with raspberry sauce, sprinkled with toasted coconut and whipped cream on the side. This was sooo good! It was gone in about 11 seconds.

Some of the enchanting character topiaries created by Epcot.

We had an amazing day walking through the world at Epcot yesterday and now I really can't wait for next year. I was impressed with the amount of Vegetarian Friendly options they had. My only wish is that we could get the recipes for these amazing dishes so we can replicate them at home. If you are planning a Disney trip, the end of April is the perfect time to come. The lines after Spring breaks are short, the weather is perfect and if you add in this festival, it's makes an already dream trip to Disney even more magical. They have a food an wine festival each Fall, and now I am definitely putting that on my calendar as a must do. I can only imagine just how good that will be.

I have got and idea from your blog and i will definitely take this natural method. I had this acne problem but currently I am using Retin a cream gel which is used to remove acne without any side effects.
